Tracfone Wireless My Account Examine App

Used to be good.

Too bad the app is slow to respond, kicks you out constantly, makes it difficult to add minutes, texts, or data when you need it. Very difficult to delete old credit card payment methods as well. Still an inexpensive service, but the maintenance is becoming more and more of a hassle, I think by design. They want you to move to a monthly charge to your credit card like all the other services who want monthly streams of money. Will use it until it becomes impossible, then switch to another pay as you go service.

Great App! Weird Acting Website…

Works great. The only problem I have had with the app is the “Refill Now” at times. Sometimes after you add a card the “refill now” option would disappear and not let you add a second (or more) card. I hope this little quirk has been fixed. I can no longer access “My Account” on the Tracfone website; also the “Refill” option no longer works there, to add your card. I used to be able to add my card and access “My Account” and “refill” there, but the website will no longer allow the entry of one’s phone number. Very strange. Is Verizon doing this on purpose?

I stay with Tracfone cause it’s super convenient to what I may afford for that month and I can still have service accordingly to my money!! 😏

App on phone works better than on PC

It most likely is my satellite connection , but I have spent an hour just trying to get into my account for Tracfone, to purchase more minutes on my PC and finally tried the phone itself. That took a fraction of the time on the app. Lesson learned

MyRewards still can’t be accessed

Title says it all. MyRewards in 8.3.2 still says “can’t access servers“ in the app. Is anyone even looking at this?

Customer for 20 years

I have had tracfone for over 20 years had a couple of glitches but no biggie taken care of pretty quick and I save a lot of money with them and the refurbished phones the sell work great also I purchased 3 or 4 of them. Hope they keep up the good work now that they are owned by version.

Login issues

App works fine. But every so often when there’s a new update to the app, there’s an issue logging on with biometric. I’m not sure if your app staff know what they are doing.

Would not recommend

Been a week since I got a flip phone something basic right . I’m getting calls texts DoorDash confirmations Verizon bill for $600 all text. If your going to give people a number make sure it’s clean as seems like you gave us a number someone just had . Horrible horrible horrible I mean what do expect from Verizon horrible company you are hellrison

Confusing

Tried switching from one carrier to Tracfone. Spoke to a customer service representative. He talked very fast and his English was hard to understand. There was a lot of background noise from other representatives I assume. I am waiting on my Tracfone SIM card to arrive and assume I will have to call them again. Still can’t log into my Tracfone account after confirmation of my Email address. I had to renew my phone for another month with my preexisting carrier while I try to figure things out. Not looking forward to this transition as I will have to call customer service again. Wife had plenty of problems when trying to get an E SIM from them. After everything was straightened out her phone is working fine with Tracfone.

Didn’t work. Called for help. I was told that I was twenty-third in line to speak to a customer assistant.

DISAPPOINTED

For the 4 months I’ve been with Tracfone it’s been one issue after another between being lied to about what was included in my plan, to purchasing internet that is supposed to be included and then it doesn’t last a whole month like it says on the purchasing screen, and forget being able to get them on the phone & to help you!

New phone

After getting my new phone I have had nothing but trouble!!!!I cannot get my minutes and now they say something is wrong with my e mail. I am beginning to dislike them very much. As soon as I get my minutes figured out and used I will not be doing business with them any longer. So mad!!!

Scammers, tons of evidence.

Spend hours and hours of my life on the phone with them. Never provided me the service that I paid for. Have tons of recorded calls of their customer service reps being rude and refusing to transfer me to a supervisor after 8+ hours a day on the phone. Hung up on multiple times. Never was ever provided the service that I paid for. Tracfone is terrible. I cannot wait until they’re out of business. Tello is great, and owned by Tmobile, Straight talk is Verizon. Mint Mobile is by far the cheapest. You’ll thank me later.

Convenient

Convenient easy to use but I’m upset that I lost 1,000 points because I thought it went towards my monthly payment and it was to use towards a new phone so I lost that I reached out to customer service and the rep couldn’t help me I also sent an email about getting the points reversed back to my account and have not had a response from them

Tracfone app is not working

The Tracfone app has not been working right lately. When adding data (specifically the smartphone-only 60 day $25 plan), there’s been a “Value Added Services” “3GB Data Card” screen popping up that prevents you from continuing and buying the plan. It’s not that you have to buy that— you can’t choose either way because there are no buttons to select. If you scroll down (below the bottom of the screen), the buttons are there, but you can’t tap them since it scrolls back. This happens on an iPhone SE (2022) with iOS 18.1.1 so it might be due to the phone screen being smaller.

TracFone is simply the best !

My wife and I have enjoyed TracFone service for years …..And we have never been disappointed !

Should be able to check balance easier

Should be able to check balances without having to do two factor authentication via email. Also don’t like receiving texts from Tracfone. Sending stop request will get acknowledged and yet texts keep coming

Good prices, terrible app

Prices are fairly good, but for how terrible the app and customer service tends to be its almost worth it to go with one of the many competing budget options that are just barely more expensive that don’t have laggy, slow, buggy, and all around unappealing apps.

Very easy to use. Used the live chat button. It worked quickly and very effectively.

This must be the absolute worst phone company to exist. The support is the opposite of helpful. Do not use Tracfone. Get anything else. This app is bad. The website is bad. Phone support is worse. Take my advice. Run.

Overall great app but…

When you have multiple phone numbers on an account for the family, it is difficult to identify in the purchase history WHAT was bought and for WHICH phone number. That’s my only complaint. I’d like to know those details as we had an instance where our daughters phone kept devouring data and I had to add on data at least every two weeks! But with 3 phones on there I wasn’t exactly sure which charges were for her data. Please add on those details in the purchase history.

Do not waste your money

This cell phone company is the worst company you can get. They don’t have a clue what they’re doing. Two weeks into every month they start sending me text messages every couple of days saying that my service is ending soon and when I call them, they tell me don’t worry about it. It will renew every month no problem and then at the end of the month I have to call them and spend three hours on the phone trying to get them to reconnect my service and frankly, it has been so much of a hassle for me the time I spent with this company that I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against them, and I urge every single person who has ever been with this company to also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the hopes that other people and companies don’t get screwed over by doing business with them.

Tracfone Wi-Fi

Tracfone has been great for us, used it for years when we lived where we always had cell signal. We live now in the mtns in the western USA and don’t get a cell signal at home but they let me receive calls via Wi-Fi and they/that has saved us from being locked out of our bank accounts, and Apple account by letting us get the verification codes via the Wi-Fi, that in itself is worth everything to us. We won’t be without it, even with the limited use we use when in town or where we get a cell signal. THANKS load’s Tracfone..

Can’t complete any tasks

I can’t believe that this app gets 4 and 5 star reviews — it’s completely useless! I enrolled in auto replenishment, entered two cards, one debit and the other credit, and the minutes run out anyway. The auto replenishment NEVER happens. There is no problem with either card. When you go in to the app to manually buy more minutes, it says you have to log in. No matter how many times you log in, it behaves as if you didn’t log in and says you must log in again. When I finally log in successfully, it declines my cards! I finally am giving up. I will use a different service.

I’m much more content since Verizon has taken over Tracfone. I always liked the prices that * Tracfone had previous years to current date. Customer service, Programming / automation is a whole lot better.

8.2.4 update is not working right

Latest update crashes on login with touch ID. Also crashes when you try to enter rewards. App is unusable. Please fix it.

Never works

This app is terrible. More than half the time it will not show me the remaining balance on any of my phones. Payment methods disappear and reappear. Constant error messages. Awful app.
